Hello again,
This has been a great morning, today July 10th, 2017 marks the first day into a career in the makings since well several years. I am not sure when I started writing seriously. I know I submitted my first Screen play in 1997 to a now defunct production company. It was called The Heyford Chronicles, it did get good reviews but the company was going another direction, cartoons. I intend on getting to Heyford Chronicles restarted in this generation as a novel and tweak it a bit.
It was way cool to see my first book published onto Amazon Kindle edition. it is called, "The Then and Now: Dissociative Identity Disorder System Poetry". It is listed as $3.99 around 40 pages, and am currently working on publishing the paperback version as well.
To say the lease I am very encouraged and thankful to God that he has gifted me with this blessing of writing. I have wanted to do this for so long but was not ready to let anyone into my mind and soul. But with the encouragement of a great friend and sister in Christ, Kori, she encouraged me to just do it. So after a few months of editing and re-reading them and editing them in a proper order that I was happy and comfortable with it done.
Now, just waiting for the cover and interior page to finish rendering, which is at this moment taking a long while.
Anyway as of today I can say that I am an author. It feels good that at the age of 45, i am doing what I know what to do. Now onto the second book of poems and The long awaited novel- based on my life(only the names and places have changed to protect the real people).
